All the Favorite Recipes from 2018…collections compiled by you, by me, and by my family!
At the end of each year, for the past few years (see 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014), I’ve compiled short lists of everyone’s favorite recipes over the past year. It’s always so fun to find out what everyone likes best!
So here we have the Favorite Recipes from 2018, broken into three separate collections.
The first collection, shown above, is a list of the top ten recipes published this year on afarmgirlsdabbles.com, according to number of page views. These recipes are featured here in no particular order. (Although I will say that my Slow Cooker Beef and Barley Stew and my Tater Tot Hotdish were very, very, VERY popular!)
These recipes were your favorites. These recipes were chosen by you!
- Slow Cooker Beef and Barley Stew
- Old-Fashioned Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp
- Sausage and Red Pepper Soup with Egg Noodles
- Tater Tot Hotdish, featuring two different ways to make it – with and withOUT canned soup!
- Prosecco Margaritas, a big-batch cocktail recipe
- Shrimp Dip
- Peach Bread
- Slow Cooker Hungarian Goulash
- Taco Salad with Creamy Taco Dressing
- Lime Baby Cakes
And this second group is a collection of my own favorites. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to narrow this down to just ten recipes?!
- Chewy Ginger Molasses Cookies, I’m obsessed with their texture and flavor!!
- Thai Chicken Soup, I can’t resist this hearty soup that’s bursting with freshness.
- Grilled Chipotle-Orange Salmon, one of my favorite meals to come off the grill!
- Rhubarb Margarita, also known as The Farmgirl Margarita. :)
- Beer Can Chicken, with fall-off-the-bone meat and crispy, ultra flavorful skin. It’s our go-to recipe for a grilled whole chicken!
- Citrus-Poppy Seed Cookies, big bakery-style cookies that are delightfully tender and bright with lemon and orange.
- Chopped Ramen Noodle Salad with Grilled Teriyaki Turkey, delivers the ying and yang of sweet and savory.
- Grilled Vegetable Salad, our most-made salad of the year!
- Rhubarb Sour Cream Coffee Cake, a tender cake studded with tart bites of rhubarb.
- Holiday Wild Rice Salad with maple Dijon dressing, every bite is so. dang. good!
And this final selection of recipes was handpicked by my family. Each year, I ask Blake and the girls to click through the archives and give me their favorite recipes. This is the very best part for me, finding out what they liked best from the past twelve months!
At the top of the collage is S’mores Pie. Never before have Blake, Hatti, and Tessa ALL chosen the same recipe as their top recipe. So I had to draw special attention to it. We made this treat many times this past year – they LOVED this gooey pie!
