All the Favorite Recipes From 2015…collections compiled by you, by me, and by my family!
Happy New Year!
2015 was a very delicious year, don’t you agree?! I had so much fun putting together the favorite recipes collections at the end of last year, that I just had to do it again. It’s very gratifying to see just how much was created…and linger over all the tastiness, of course.
Just like last year, I’ve created three separate collections of Favorite Recipes From 2015. The first, shown above, is a list of the top ten recipes as ranked by Google Analytics (in no particular order). These recipes that were created in 2015 had the most page views. These recipes were chosen by you!
- Slow Cooker Beef and Barley Stew
- Cheesy Italian Meatloaf Muffins
- Jessica’s Taco Salad with Creamy Taco Dressing
- Crispy Baked Chicken Wings with Oyster Sauce
- Chocolate Cake with Fluffy Mint Chocolate Chip Buttercream
- Coconut Cupcakes with Fluffy Coconut Buttercream
- Crab Bisque
- Bacon Wrapped Smokies {3 ways!}
- Make-Ahead Buttery Baked Oatmeal
- Booyah
This second grouping is a compilation of my own favorites. Do you know how hard it was to narrow this selection down to just ten recipes?
I’ll also add that I could easily classify all of your favorites from the first collage as favorites of my own!
- Wheat Berry and Spinach Salad with Orange-Curry Vinaigrette
- Chocolate French Silk Pie Bars with Graham Toffee Crust
- Rhubarb Mojitos
- Tropical Shrimp Salad
- Summer Quinoa and Veggies Salad with Honey-Shallot Vinaigrette
- Kicked-Up Tater Tot Hotdish
- Herby Ham Salad
- Hot Buttered Rum Coffee
- Mom’s Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup
- German Chocolate Macaroons
And this final selection of recipes was handpicked by my family. Blake and the girls gathered at the computer together and clicked through the archives. Each gave me their two favorite recipes from 2015. I think I have the most fun finding out what they, my most special people in the world, liked best!
Blake:
- Buttery Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookies (all of us wanted this recipe on our list!)
- Homemade Limoncello
Hatti:
- Crème Fraîche Ice Cream with Triple Berry Sauce
- Brûléed Banana Split with Brownies and Magic Shell

As we step into 2016, I want to thank you for being a part of this past year with a farmgirl’s dabbles. I’m grateful and extremely honored that you spend time here with me and my family, and am super excited to see what’s around the corner in 2016. Happiest New Year to you!
What a fun idea—I love the 3 categories and have a feeling they all could become MY favorites :)
That little exercise is always an eye opener as to how much was published in a year’s time…and how much good stuff we managed to eat! Thanks, Liz.
That Booyah recipe is definitely a winner in my book! Great round up, Brenda. Happy New year and cheers to a wonderful 2016 for you!
Thank you, Lauren. The flavors are so good in this booyah! Happy New Year to you!
