What Is Banana Pudding Cheesecake?

This easy recipe features a Nilla wafer crust with a banana flavored cheesecake filling and topped off with a fluffy banana pudding whipped cream garnish!

What You'll Need

You'll need Nilla wafers, cream cheese, and a few other simple ingredients to make this easy recipe. Let's get started!

Make the Crust

In a food processor, pulse the Nilla Wafers until they’re a fine crumb. Then add the honey, cinnamon, and salt.

Add Melted Butter

Slowly add the melted butter. Then pulse until the mixture resembles wet sand.

Bake the Crust

Press the crust mixture into an even layer on the bottom and sides of the pan. Then bake for 10 minutes and set aside.

Make the Filling

Mix the cream cheese, granulated sugar, sour cream, milk, and vanilla until light and fluffy.

Add Banana Pudding Mix

Add the banana pudding mix, flour, and eggs, mixing on low speed.

Prepare the Water Bath

Pour filling into crust and place the springform pan into a baking pan with tall sides. Add hot water until it's 1/2 inch deep.

Bake the Cheesecake

Bake until the center just barely jiggles when shaken. Then allow the cheesecake to cool completely.

Make the Whipped Topping

Beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and banana pudding mix until stiff peaks form.

Decorate the Cheesecake

Spread whipped topping over center. Then top with sliced bananas and Nilla Wafers.

Keep the banana cheesecake in the fridge until just before serving. Then slice, serve, and enjoy!
