This no-cook Strawberry Sauce recipe is easy to make, with just a few ingredients. It's a delightful fresh strawberry sauce for cheesecake, angel food cake, waffles, ice cream, and so much more!
Ingredients
1½poundsfreshripe strawberries, hulled
1tablespoonsuper fine sugar
1tablespoonhoney
1½tablespoonsfreshly squeezed lemon juice
zest from 1 medium lemon
Instructions
In a blender or food processor, combine strawberries, sugar, honey, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Blend until smooth, about 20 to 30 seconds. Strawberry flavor and sweetness will vary, so taste sauce and add more sugar or honey, if desired.
Cover and refrigerate.
